My first experience with the sewing world was sitting and watching my Paternal Grandmother performing her magic each day with her manual White Sewing Machine; taking the time to pass me some scraps, showing me little techniques and taking the time to inspect my little creations. Little did I know where all of that would lead.

Having grown up in Newfoundland, the Montreal area has been my home for most of my life.

My working experience in Montreal has always been in fabrics; from managing the U.S. division of a textile brokerage firm; to working at one of Canada's largest Home Decor Showrooms.

After being bitten by the quilting bug 1992, the rest is history.

Working on my many projects; while juggling the creative world of color and decorating in business; I entered the world of design and launched my first patterns in 2009.

In 2015 I decided that in order to live my passion and pursue my dream, I needed to quit corporate and dive into this wonderful world of quilting full time..  July of 2015 found me doing just that, and opening my own quilt shop.

I closed my brick & mortar shop in May of 2018 with the decision that I needed to be able to better balance my design and retail business; hence moving the shop and design business to a private studio.

I've always loved fabrics and it's no surprise that fabric continues to play such an important role in my life.

I've just added fabric design to my portfolio with the release of my first fabric collection being presented  in Spring, 2019 at the International Quilt market.

I have taught classes and workshops in Canada and the U.S.  I enjoy nothing more than sharing my quilting passion;  both locally and long-distance in semi-private classes, groups and retreats. I feel that if quilters are not able to visit me, that he can bring the classes, workshops and new ideas to them.  Atter all, my motto has always been "Keeping You In Stitches".
