1.

Cut border strips 5-6” wide from the large feature print and set aside.

Cut 3 (2) strips 5 ½” x remaining width of fabric of large feature print.

Cut 6 (4) strips 1 ½” x width of framing fabric.

Sew a 1 ½” strip to two sides of the 5 ½” strip.

Cut into 18 (8) sections 5 ½” x 7 ½”.

If you fussy-cut 18 (8) squares 5 ½” x 5 ½”, you will need 36 (16) strips 1 ½” x 5 ½” to sew on the top and bottom of each square and 16 Please note – this number is 36 strips 1 ½” x 7 ½” to sew to the two sides of each square. 2. Cut 8 (4) strips of framing fabric 1 ½” by width of fabric, Please note – this measurement is 7 ½“
