Imperial Table Runner Pattern HHQ-7382

This elegant runner was made with the lovely Oriental fabrics from the "Mari" line by Yuko Hasegawa for RJR. The same dramatic piece was used for the borders and backing of the runner, making it easily reversible. The Dresden Plate blocks appear to be hand appliqued, giving the runner more dimension. The combination of the paper piecing for support and the template cut blades keeps the assembly of the blocks consistent in size. This quilt pattern includes directions for machine mock hand applique, a 1/4 inch seam practice and tips to achieve well behaved borders.
