Red Sand Blossoms Quilt Pattern TP-105

A flower basket design inspired by the picturesque American Southwest desert. Hand-dyed cotton and wool captures the essence of rock outcroppings and the red sand that surround flowering succulents. Practice turned-edge and raw-edge applique, hexagon and English Paper Piecing, embroidery and bead embellishing techniques. Instructions include directions to hand-dye your own fabric.

Fabrics shown in the quilt sample are hand-dyed cottons by Quilter Exchange & Fiber Art Studio and wool.
